Music Festival and BBQS!
We're heading out to hit up the music festival scene, but not like you expect. We're picking the more obscure events that you probably don't know about.
We're trying to check out Decade of Dumb Decisions, a diy fest celebrating our friends record label, Square of Opposition, existing for ten years. Unfortunately. He's worked with some awesome musicians like Snowing, Pissed Jeans members previous bands like Yo Man Go, and Mischief Brew. that's in Allentown, PA July 31st.
We also headed down to check out the National Capital Barbecue Battle.
We hit up the warped tour this year to see if it still sucks and you can pick up our newest issue to find out! (here's a hint. the answer starts with a "Y")
Then we are hoping to hit up the Gathering of the Juggalos. Our editor has been fascinated with the explosion in popularity of ICP and it's fans since we can remember. He tells stories of buying Riddle box when it was new, and has the Hollywood records version of Great Milenko. A few years ago his fascination sparked his second documentary film "Juggalo Parking Lot", a film exploring ICP's rabid cult like followers as they explain what appeals to them about ICP and the juggalo lifestyle. A little time off
Sorry about the time off, but there have been some issues that we're working out. Changing locations, family emergencies. You know. When it rains it pours. Our presence will be scarce this year in the tourney scene, but we should be good soon.
